I'm Burning For You

It's so simple, really. Some eggs, cream, and a bit of sugar. A little whisking, a little simmering, and a little while in the oven.

And then there's the bit with the blow torch. How is it possible that it has taken me this long to make a dessert that involves a blow torch?

Have a delicious day, Sweet Readers.

i LOVE making creme brulee at home...i even registered for a ramekin and blow torch set when i got married.

have you tried infusing different flavors by adding orange zest or unsweetened cocoa powder (you can also add liqueurs like St Germain) to the cream while it's slowly reaching its boil? suuuuper yummy.

I'm not only NOT allowed to use the stove - but CERTAINLY not a blow torch!!! I think I have flame envy... and now I'm hungry too! LOL

I had the most incredible fig creme brulee last week. I'm working on recreating the dish -- it was seriously heavenly.
